HOBBIES:

Making pictures and other things using stained glass, gemstones and other media; reading; walking/rambling; boomerangs; total music addict (of all sorts).

WHY PHOTOGRAPHY?

I attended Art College a few years ago and whilst I thoroughly enjoyed 3D modelling and pottery, I wouldn’t claim to be much of an artist when it comes to drawing or painting. That is, if the subject to be painted ‘exists’, I have a problem reproducing it, but if the subject is ‘non-existent’ or abstract then no problem arises. However with photography, I get the chance to show others how I see the world with my own different perspective wherever possible. I may not be a biologist, or an entomologist but I do believe I know a beautiful subject when I see one, therefore I have to take a picture of it to show someone else!
